Launch of Volume 9

The New School Economic Review (NSER) is launching its 9th volume!

To launch the journal, we are pleased to invite you to a talk on POLITICAL ECONOMICS: Theory and Practice in the Political Economy of the Left (see the Facebook-event). The hashtag for the event is #NSERVol9.

Speakers:

  • Stephanie Kelton, Economics professor at The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and chief economic advisor on the Bernie Sanders campaign
  • Teresa Ghilarducci, Economics professor at The New School and economic advisor on the Hillary Clinton campaign
  • David Maddy, Economics graduate student at The New School (student respondent)

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 28th at 4:00pm in Room 1009 of the 6 E 16th Street building of The New School. There is a reception in the Economics department afterwards.

The NSER is a peer-reviewed economics journal run by graduate students in the Economics department of the New School for Social Research. Take a look at past volumes.
